Fraser Serle

I am an accomplished project manager, having worked in the statutory, voluntary and private sectors. My hands-on approach gives me the ability to manage relationships between different groups and organisations to achieve collective goals.     A highly proficient consultant in public health and health promotion, I have over 17 years experience in both operational management and the commissioning of services in the NHS. I also have skills in policy development, strategic planning, undertaking evaluations and needs assessment.

Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector Level 3; Chartered Institute of Environmental Health; PETTLS qualification;  MSc Public Health, King’s College, London 2004

Career highlights

  • Organising a trip to Russia to perform in a play about HIV that was devised by members of the Belgrade Youth Theatre, Coventry
  • I was privileged to work for Health First for eight years, five of which were spent managing the sexual health and HIV prevention programme
  • Project managing the successful implementation of NHS Health Checks in Lambeth, where I worked alongside some fantastic colleagues from primary care, pharmacy, commissioning and public health to deliver a well thought out programme

When I’m not working….

I like to travel, my aim is to have visited every country in Europe within the next five years – so far I’m about halfway there.  I volunteer for a national HIV charity providing one-to-one and facilitated group support to people living with HIV.

“Fraser brings passion and professionalism to his work. He is personable and strives to make everyone feel included and valued.    He often receives positive feedback on his work and at a recent presentation to a health partnership board a learning disability support worker described him as ‘a breath of fresh air’”
