Sophie Strachan
Associate
I have been delivering training for the past eight years in both the NHS and voluntary sector settings. I have been involved in co-writing material for the NHS Health Trainer level 3 City and Guilds accredited and subsequently delivered training and assessed candidates performance when completing this award. I have advised on consultation processes with NHS trusts and the criminal justice system. This has led to developing strategic plans for organisations and communities. I lead the implementation of Understanding Health Improvement level 2 into London prisons on behalf of the London Health Trainer Hub. I have contributed to policy consultations within the HIV sector, giving evidence at the House of Lords select committee.

When not at work…
I love going to live gigs and seeing up-coming bands. My particular loves are jazz, blues, and indie. I love the cinema, Britain’s incredible architecture, country walks and cycling, generally trying to keep fit and the arts.
