Equality and diversity training, London Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

London Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea asked RBE to develop a bespoke programme for community champions which opened up the conversation about equality and diversity in a way that spoke to the different beliefs, backgrounds and experiences of the communities in their diverse boroughs.

The training programme, which focussed on celebrating and understanding difference, drew on the Equality Act’s Framework of protected characteristics to discuss and explore personal responsibility as well as the role of organisations in promoting equality and diversity.
